About Solace

A quiet place to start over — and people who do this every day.

Solace De-Addiction & Rehabilitation Centre is a dedicated facility for the treatment of substance abuse, behavioural addictions and psychological disorders — compassionate, confidential and evidence-based care, built around the person in front of us rather than a standard programme.

That begins with an assessment by a consultant psychiatrist. From there a plan is written for that individual: what detox will involve, which medication and why, which therapies, how long the stay is likely to be, and what the family needs to do. Clinical psychologists, occupational therapists and trained counsellors all work to the same plan.

We treat addiction together with the mental health conditions that so often sit underneath it — anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia and long-running sleep problems. Treating one and ignoring the other is why recovery breaks down, so we don't.

Behavioural addictions are assessed with the same seriousness as substances — gambling, gaming and compulsive phone or internet use included.

And what happens here stays here. Nothing about an admission is discussed outside the clinical team.

Reach out

One call is enough to begin. We'll ask what has been happening, explain exactly what admission involves, and tell you honestly whether this is the right place.

Stabilise

Medically supervised detox and psychiatric treatment to get through withdrawal safely, sleep properly again, and think clearly enough for therapy to work.

Rebuild

Therapy, routine, yoga, work and play — the ordinary structure that makes recovery hold once someone is back home.

Consultant psychiatrist

The doctor behind every treatment plan.

Admissions at Solace are assessed and reviewed by a consultant psychiatrist, who sets the medication and therapy plan and adjusts it as recovery progresses. To ask about qualifications, consulting hours or a first appointment, call us or send an enquiry.

  1. 01

    Assessment & admission

Before anything else, a consultant psychiatrist assesses physical health, withdrawal risk and any co-existing mental illness. That assessment decides whether detox comes first and roughly how long the stay needs to be.

Talk to us about admission

In their words

Recovery, described by the people who lived it

We called at eleven at night, not knowing what else to do. Someone picked up, listened, and told us exactly what would happen the next morning.

R. K.Brother of a patient · Hyderabad

The detox week was the part I was most frightened of. It was managed properly, and I slept through the night for the first time in two years.

S. M.In recovery · 14 months

The family sessions were hard, and they were necessary. We finally learned what to say at home — and what not to say.

A. P.Wife of a patient · Secunderabad

Yoga in the morning, work through the day, group in the evening. The routine is what kept me from going back.
